Free club fun shoot 1st October

Calling all Air and Firearms full members!

 Club fun shoot and social : Sunday 8th October 2023

 The club social shoots are proving popular, the club pays for your ammo and we’ll even feed you afterwards – all for free!

An informal competition open to all full members including Juniors.

The competition will comprise a number of disciplines, each shot with club guns:

• 20yd Lightweight Sporting Rifle with red dot sights – .22LR 20 shots
• 25yd Prone with Dioptre Sights – .22LR 20 shots*
• 10m Air Rifle with Dioptre Sights – .177 20 shots 
• 10m Air pistol open sights – .177 20 shots

 5 Shots practice shots allowed for each discipline to get used to the gun and discipline.

For members who cannot shoot prone due to limited mobility, bench rest will be permitted. 

Each competitor will shoot all disciplines with club guns – we know this might put some people out of their comfort zone, but it’s for fun and will help level the playing field.

The competition is free to enter and all ammunition and targets will be provided free of charge.

Start Time – 1 pm on the 8th of October

Turn up and put your name down and we’ll assign you to the next detail.

The WSC Function room is booked for the afternoon from 4pm and people can wait there before and after.

Food will be provided and once everyone has finished shooting, prizes will be awarded for various categories, including best aggregate score and best individual discipline.
