WRPC has a thriving and friendly air section.

We’re not one of those clubs where everyone has their own cliques and where FAC holders with their big noisy guns look down on air gun shooters. In fact quite the opposite – most of our full members either started in air or also shoot air as part of the sport.

We are lucky to have some very talented air rifle and air pistol shooters with us some of whom compete at a very high standard.

Adrian Brookes winning yet another medal – well done sir!

Adrian was the Captain of England, Men’s & Women’s team and has won the NRA/Eley finals amongst many, many other acheivements.

Air pistols and air rifles may be shot on all our ranges including the main firearms ranges. We have a very good selection of modern air pistols and air rifles from basic springers to very high end match rifles all of which are free of charge for members to use. We only ask that you pay for the pellets.

If you’re looking to start in or improve your air shooting then you’ll be in good company.

Our volunteer instructors have many years of experience and will be very happy to train you from plinking to match standard, at your own pace of course.

Precision air shooters can take special advantage of a dedicated air only 10m match range which is kept in match ready condition at all times, plus the main 25m precision range with it’s state of the art electronic targets. Air may also be used on our main 10m plinking range and the main 25m multi-purpose range.

It’s OK just to have fun too – the multi purpose 10m air range has just been upgraded with reactive targets.
